Almost half of previously incarcerated women report that they have not received income in the past two years (Looney & Turner, 2018). We have seen this and seek to change financial situations of previously incarcerated women. That is why HER.Buena exists. Not only to we seek to provide a product that may help you but at the same time, you are breaking cycles of poverty of previously incarcerated women.

Today .buena participated in a yard sale to benefit "The Linden Home", a transformational home for previously incarcerated women. One of our long time family friends Guadalupe aka "La Raza" stopped by to show us his support amidst the hurdles he overcame this morning alone. This really encouraged us. It encourages us to continue our work and fulfill our visions from our ancestors even when the days seem rough. Thank you "Raza" we love you! We continue to be blessed by our elders and all of their support during our own transformation.
