Fourteen years ago, I made a conscious decision to develop my intuition. Looking back, I can see
I was simply looking for “answers.”
The truth is, I’ve spent most of my life running on a low-grade sense of dread. (I know—it’s a
blast!) To cope, I became a master of control. I managed my spouse, my kids, and my
environment. I double-locked doors and padded my savings, denying myself any spending just to
feel a fleeting sense of security.
I thought if I could just become more intuitive—if I could get a “peek” at the future—I would
finally feel calm and satiated. As if fear can ever be satiated.
Instead, developing my intuition led me back home to myself. It introduced me to that still, small voice within—the Higher Self, the Universe, God, or whatever you want to call it—that knows I am already safe.
My “thinking brain” operates at lightning speed, but it can’t think its way into peace. That peace lives in the “slower waters” of deep internal knowing.
That, to me, is true intuition. It isn’t about outsmarting life; it’s about a knowing that surpasses understanding.
If you are on a journey to find your own internal voice, let’s talk. I would be honoured to join you.
