They were commended for their dedication and passion that has resulted in the Magoffin County HANDS program being one of the top programs in Eastern Ky.

The Magoffin County Health Department would like to thank Herald Whitaker Middle School and Salyersville Grade School for their collaboration with THRIVE Youth Cafes. Youth Cafes help increase confidence, increase resilience, build Protective Factors and relationships with others.

The Magoffin County Health Department and the Magoffin County Extension Office partnered up this Saturday evening to promote a Drug-Free Prom. Students were encouraged to make good choices, shine bright, and enjoy a substance-free prom night.

With a theme of *Boots and Bling* it was bound to be a boot-n-scooting' good time!

We hope all the students had a great time tonight and made it home safely.
