Ano ang Sanhi ng Frozen Shoulder?

Ang frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) ay isang kondisyon kung saan naninigas, sumasakit, at limitado ang galaw ng balikat. Hindi laging malinaw ang eksaktong dahilan, ngunit may mga salik na maaaring magdulot nito:

*Primary (Idiopathic) Frozen Shoulder
- Walang malinaw na sanh* – Bumubuo nang dahan-dahan nang walang injury o ibang sakit.
- Mas karaniwan sa mga taong edad 40–60, lalo na sa *mga babae.
- Kaugnay ng ilang sakit tulad ng diabetes (10–20% ng may diabetes ay nagkakaroon nito), thyroid disorder, at heart disease.

*Secondary Frozen Shoulder
Nangyayari ito dahil sa ibang kondisyon, gaya ng:
1. Hindi Paggalaw ng Balikat
- Pagkatapos ng operasyon (hal., rotator cuff repair, mastectomy).
- Mahabang panahon ng hindi paggamit ng braso (hal., dahil sa bali o stroke).

📖 How long does acupuncture take to work?
Upon your first visit, your acupuncture practitioners will recommend a course of treatment based upon their diagnosis. The course of treatment can vary from twice weekly sessions to weekly sessions for 6 weeks to several weeks.

The length of time needed for it to work depends on what medical problem is being treated and the type of acupuncture being used. For example, people suffering from pain, anxiety or stress will normally notice a reduction in their symptoms after the first 1-2 sessions. For more chronic disorders such as skin problems, chronic pain or infertility, treatment may take several weeks.

To help it work quicker, you can optimize your lifestyle and dietary as well as take supplements. Your acupuncturist should be able to give you this advice.
