When you scan one of your best friends and find a cancer!!!

Scary - YES!!!

But knowing her outcome will be so much better because of this screening makes my heart so happy ❤️🙌🏻🥰🙏🏼

Cancer sucks!! But finding cancer before it spreads or causes symptoms is potentially life saving!

Early Diagnosis = Better Prognosis

Many of you may have met Cindy Tauzin LeBeouf at one of our screening events. To say she is a blessing is truly an understatement. Her kindness, positivity, and unwavering support have touched so many lives, and we are incredibly grateful to have her as part of the Sound Prevention Screenings family.

“Life has been a little rocky lately for me, but one thing’s for sure…GOD IS GOOD! 🙏🏻

On May 1st, I did a scan with one of my best friends, Dionne, at Sound Prevention Screenings. She detected a 4.5cm mass on my right kidney. I had no symptoms, recent bloodwork was great, no reason to suspect anything was going on. I did the scan JUST TO MAKE SURE and to have peace of mind. All I can say is thank God I did!

On May 21st, a biopsy was done. I was diagnosed with stage 1B Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma. According to the CT scan, it was confined to that area only and I was told that I’d need to have my entire right kidney removed.

June 15th, my surgery took place and was a success. Waiting on pathology, but my doctor expects the problem has been taken care of.

I was told by 3 doctors during this whole ordeal that I must have a guardian angel! This type of thing usually isn’t detected until it has grown much larger and causing other problems. How blessed I am that I did the scan that day! I CANNOT SAY IT ENOUGH…EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THIS SCAN DONE! “
