Healthcare recruitment is about more than bringing doctors and healthcare professionals to Lac La Biche. It’s about helping families feel at home and giving them reasons to stay.

In just over a year, RARS has welcomed nine healthcare families to our community, supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who have contributed more than 1,700 hours.

A special thank you to the RMA District 5 Golf Tournament for supporting RARS and helping make this work possible.

Recruitment brings people here. Community is what makes them stay.

🎓 Gateway Dental Future Healthcare Scholarship – Applications Still Open

Gateway Dental Clinic is offering a $1,000 scholarship for graduating students in Lac La Biche County who are pursuing healthcare-related studies or a pathway toward a future career in healthcare.

This may include students entering programs such as sciences, nursing, dental hygiene, dental assisting, health sciences, kinesiology, or other healthcare-related pathways.

As a locally rooted clinic, this initiative is especially meaningful to us. Many members of our team grew up in this community, including local graduates who are now dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants at Gateway Dental.

The selected recipient will also be offered the opportunity to shadow at Gateway Dental Clinic and gain real-world exposure to a clinical healthcare environment.

✅ Application takes approximately 5–10 minutes
