Life has been lifing and I haven't been consistent with my yoga asana and meditation practice. I can tell that I'm handling stress differently based on how my body feels during certain moments and how I react to different situations.
While on a last minute trip to Charlotte, I decided to reach out to my Yoga Nidra teacher training Sangha Sisters for yoga studios/classes that I could take while I was in Charlotte.
Cassandra came through with options and I ended up taking her class today . Which is where I did my yin training when I first moved to NC. Funny how things come full circle. This class was what I needed today. 🙌🏽 Also thanks to for coming through with workout clothes since I didn't pack any.

I had a moment where I realized that I was missing some key things in my life that fill me with joy. Between moving to a new city almost 4 years ago and then the pandemic hitting, there are some things that were missing in my life. Outside of travel and music, I had to think about the next level of things that brought me joy. Things that I haven't really been doing in the last 2.5 - 4 years. So in the last two weeks I've started to incorporate those activities back into my life and it feels so good.

I've been quiet on social media because well this year has been rough. One day I'll share my story. For now, I'll say that between the pandemic and the last few months, I have a different perspective on life and my priorities have shifted.
I'm taking the next few months to ground, be creative, practice self-care, reconnect with my true self. The bath salt that I made today is just a sample of tools that I'll be using.

2021 has looked differently for me. I took some risks, invested in myself, focused on my spirituality, focused on manifesting, set boundaries, burned myself out, and learned some lessons along the way.
My word for 2021 is self-care. Self-care was tough this year but I found my way back to it. Tonight, I'm going to check-in with my vision board and meditate before I decide on my word for 2022. Looking forward to what 2022 will bring.

I spent my weekend on the beach listening to the waves and enjoying the sun beaming down on me. I meditated, let my mind wonder, took some pics with my camera, pulled a few cards, and just relaxed. This weekend has me rethinking my life because I did not want to come home.

I've pulled the “Create Your Reality" card for the last few weeks. When I pulled it this week, I instantly thought about how I finally took the steps to create the life that I want. Becoming an leader it just one of them. The Emergence card was confirmation that things that I have started working on are coming into fruition.
We will some reflection in our lives and use some practices to help manifest some of these goals. Details dropping soon about my retreat to St Maarten/Martin. Use the link in my bio to be the first to get the deets.
