WELCOME TO THE NEW STATE OF THE ART KIDNEY CARE CENTRE AT
PRINCE OF WALES HOSPITAL | The centre is a major
step forward in kidney healthcare, setting a new
benchmark for integrated renal services not only for our
District but Australia. 🏩

The facility has been designed around the patient
journey, ensuring patients can access the full spectrum
of kidney care services in one location.

The centre provides acute and satellite dialysis, home
therapies, outpatient clinics, transplant support,
vascular access management, paediatric dialysis
services and multidisciplinary care.

The facility establishes a new standard for kidney care
delivery and will support the healthcare needs of
patients, families and the wider community for many

You can protect your baby against severe RSV disease from birth by getting vaccinated during pregnancy. It’s free for eligible women and recommended from 28 weeks of pregnancy.

If you, or a loved one, have a non-life-threatening medical situation, you can contact healthdirect on 1800 022 222 for immediate advice.

A registered nurse (RN) will answer your call and ask you some questions about your condition. Depending on their assessment, you may be referred to an Urgent Care Clinic.

If you are referred to an Urgent Care Clinic, the RN will provide you the details to access the service.

Urgent Care Clinic will give you the treatment you need quickly for an illness or injury that is not an emergency, without waiting in a busy emergency department.
