If you, or a loved one, have a non-life-threatening medical situation, you can contact healthdirect on 1800 022 222 for immediate advice.

A registered nurse (RN) will answer your call and ask you some questions about your condition. Depending on their assessment, you may be referred to an Urgent Care Clinic.

If you are referred to an Urgent Care Clinic, the RN will provide you the details to access the service.

Urgent Care Clinic will give you the treatment you need quickly for an illness or injury that is not an emergency, without waiting in a busy emergency department.

Medicare Urgent Care Clinics in our district are at Carlton and Maroubra.
