Welcome Madi! 🤩
We're so excited (and lucky) that Madi has joined us to complete her Field Placement this summer!
You can find her in the clinic, helping out with 1:1 rehab and training, group classes, and of course our speciality series!
Madison is completing her final fieldwork placement at Evolve Chiropractic toward earning a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours), majoring in Human Kinetics at the University of
Regina.
Born and raised in Swan River, Madison grew up deeply involved in sport. Although she enjoyed participating in a variety of sports, she ultimately dedicated most of her commitment to competitive curling.
Throughout her journey, she achieved several meaningful milestones, including representing Manitoba at the 2022 Canadian U‑18 Curling Championships in Ontario; competing at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island as Team Saskatchewan; and being nominated as all‑star lead at the 2023 Saskatchewan Provincial Curling Championships.
Madison found her passion, confidence, and sense of belonging through training in the gym. She is driven by the pursuit of becoming the strongest and most resilient version of herself.
Madison strives to help clients elevate their performance—in sport, in the gym, and in life—through consistency, and training sessions that emphasize progression over perfection, grit, teamwork, and the discovery of inner strength.
This summer, she will also assist with occupational fitness testing at the Regina Police College. She hopes that gaining experience in these two settings will help shape the population she ultimately wants to work with—whether that be sport athletes, tactical athletes, or members of the general population across the lifespan.
In September, Madison will begin a Master of Science in Kinesiology under the supervision of Dr. Darren Candow, one of the world’s leading researchers in creatine supplementation.
Following her graduate studies, she aspires to pursue a career in strength and conditioning or continue her education toward a career in research and academia.
Madison recently earned her certification as a Women’s Coaching Specialist through Girls Gone Strong. She is currently accepting new clients to train under the mentorship of Dr.
Jennifer Thomson.
Madison looks forward to learning from Dr. Jen and supporting Swan Valley residents in achieving their performance goals.
💭 “By focusing on progression, practice, and performance, I help clients build the strength, skill, and confidence to show up powerfully in sport and life.”
