This is part of the “inchie challenge” with Amy Maricle. Yesterday the prompt was SPRINKLE. The painting is 2”x2” and done with Daniel Smith extra fine watercolors. I’m realizing the format is a little small for me so I cut some 3x3” for today’s prompt of BLUE. I forget how long it takes to dry… and it’s been rainy all day. lol

TOMORROW is the Expo! July 12, 10-5 at the Holiday Inn Peabody MA. I have over 100 different bead sets I’ll be selling at my table. Entry is $5 cash, which gets you access to the seminars, including the key note by Nicholas Pearson. There will be vendor, readers, and healers. Check out Zuzu’s posts for more details.

I haven’t been getting out and around as much with this hot & buggy weather. These are the leftover storm clouds for the thunderstorm I heard earlier. We didn’t even get rain though. It’s still a “feels like” of 91°F/30°C. And humid. I took the dog out after his dinner and got swarmed by deer flies. I HATE THEM. But the clouds were super pretty.

One of my most favorite things about Spring is the multitude of shades of green. Tiny hemlock cones and buds, oak leaves, grasses and stems, and ferns. Oh the glorious ferns!!

These dark purple iris mean so much to me. They started in my grandfather’s garden. He died before I was born, but I’ve always felt a big connection to him. The last time I saw these was 2019. 💜💜💜

Moon Joy! Two bead sets, Dark Moon and Full Moon. Inspired by the color photos of the moon. These have rainbow moonstone, labradorite, and Larvikite, with beautiful flashes of color. You could meditate or pray with them for a moon goddess, or maybe as an altar decoration/tool.

These beads have such a lovely weight to them! These are pyrite in quartz, with a matte hawks eye marker and a rectangular tiger eye. They are hand knotted in light brown silk. This set was inspired by 01 The Magician card of the tarot major arcana. Its intention is manifesting with clarity. The matte hawks eye bead has like a bulls eye on it which makes me think of finding that focus needed. I chose the rectangular tiger eye intuitively and didn’t even think about how it looks so much like the table in the Waite Smith deck. The pyrite in quartz have many colors and patterns as you look closely, like the different elements. The main beads are big 8.5mm with a 10mm to make the Magician in the 78 beads.
