Summer has absolutely flown by!but we have had such an amazing time 💕😁 today a lovely young people taught me how to do a fish tail plat 🤗, we pampered Rosie and had fun platting, a spot of pony paint ( this is chalk based special pony paint that brushes off )
And learned about her pack saddle, traditionally used many years ago to help carry items in big wicker baskets 🧺🧺 either side. And chatted about what types of jobs we all would have if in old times. Rosie now has a very much found nickname of punky pie after my little pony pinky pie 🩷and I think she was very much rocking her pink pony makeover! Also lots of learning about all the amazing things about evolution of the horse,and how they changed to have hooves to help them run faster. So much fun and so many thoughtful conversations ,as of course lots of pony cuddles too! O yes and lots of yummy blackberries ,her favourite treat!😋 Rosie pony, or should I say punky pie! You have been a little super star ⭐ wishing everyone a fantastic rest of your school summer holidays🤗and thank you sooooo very much for having us we have enjoyed every moment with you guys over the holidays 😁🎉🌞

🐴❤️😁 always an absolute pleasure coming to see all the young people at Malvern Youthy! Having a fantastic time chatting all about different animals and pets and how we love looking after them 🤗 I also learned lots about how to look after chinchillas, snakes, and even snails! From the amazing young people such a wonderful variety of pets and great knowledge!! Learning about and sharing our passions and interests is such a lovely thing! And keeping our connections to nature and the wonderful neverending learning of all the amazing animals in the natural world ❤️

Some more photos of the beautiful creations made by all the young people (and mums and dads getting involved too!) at the Poi making workshops over the weekend at Lakefest as part of the children's tent activities with the amazing we had such an amazing time! and so much fun! A huge thank you to Sarah for having us ! And to Mia and her friend for being my helpers!🤗
We made Poi from using up cycled materials as much as possible,and to add to the flower power theme this year we added lavender inside 🪻 to make them also smell lovely! And then had lots of fun learning how to do poi spinning tricks!

Having a fabulous first day at making poi ,that smell lush with lavender 🪻 inside ☺️ at the children's tent with thanks to the awesomeness of ❤️🎪🎉😁 if you are there this weekend (and have signal to read this🙈🤣) come and join the chill fun vibe and pop over to tent to get stuck in with the arts , crafts and different activities and fun skills!
