Personal pack party with the Peck pack! Kauai Babysitting Co families are really just that- a global and inclusive Ohana.
Welcoming a new person into your home/hotel can be intimidating. The sitters are individually selected as the best match for each family. We all strive to create meaningful connections and relationships with each family we meet, let it be for only one day of their trip, the duration of their stay, or subsequent visits!
This is Michelle, with her dogs, and June (who didn’t even exist when Michelle first met their family), who’s family has become a real friend. It’s such a privilege to know these special families and be welcomed into their hearts, year after year.

We know our are a big part of our family and we miss them when we’re away. Happily, the Kauai Humane Society offers a three-way win! 🏆🏆🏆.
🏆1) you get to hang/hike/cuddle/beach/play with a fur friend for the day.
🏆🏆2) pups get to stretch their legs in their natural surroundings.
🏆🏆🏆3) they’re introduced to the community- sometimes meeting their forever family!
If you’re planning a hike or a lazy beach day, go to the shelter during their pick up hours, let the staff match you with an appropriate field trip buddy, and then off you go! Most beaches allow dogs unless they are county-maintained beaches or parks. Kapa`a Beach Path is the only exception.
