One of the hardest things I’ve ever shared. There are no words to illustrate the impact she has had on my life.
Dear Yamuna Body Rolling Community,
It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share that Yamuna Zake is nearing the end of her life.
Yamuna fell ill at the end of last year, and unfortunately things have progressed rapidly.
For more than 40 years, she dedicated her life to helping people heal, understand their bodies, and suffer less. Nothing brought her more joy than sharing this work, teaching others, and helping people discover their body’s ability to heal.
So many people around the world have been touched by her work, her teaching, her hands, her vision, and her relentless dedication to others.
Even in the midst of all of this, Yamuna recently spent 10 days in Ibiza teaching Body Logic — what she often calls the “mother” of all her work. Teaching continues to bring her joy until the very end.
This is an incredibly difficult time for all of us close to her, and we are asking for prayers, love, compassion, and respect as we move through it togethr.
Yamunas work and legacy will continue through the powerful community she has created.
