Operation ASHA - Cambodia ASHA means "Hope" in Hindi. Operation ASHA aspires to bring hope through providing quality healthcare services to the disadvantaged communities.

Operation ASHA is one of the world's largest international NGOs dedicated to eradicating tuberculosis (TB) worldwide. We strive to provide TB treatment and health services to disadvantaged communities who have little access to basic healthcare. The organisation was established in India in 2006 by founders, Sandeep Ahuja and Dr. Shelly Batra, who aspire to improve the lives of the disadvantaged by

closing the gaps in basic healthcare delivery in the developing world. In 2010, we expanded our operations to Cambodia and opened our first center in Phnom Penh. Operation ASHA in Cambodia now collaborates with the local government to provide TB treatment and prevention in 7 other provinces. We currently serve more than 8.9 million people across India and Cambodia and plan to expand our reach to other regions of the developing world.
