We’re planning a community event at Whitby Park on 30th July and we’re looking for local organisations, groups, and services to register their interest in having a stall 🎉

This will be an activity-focused event, so all stallholders must be able to provide some kind of interactive activity for attendees to get involved in - whether that’s games, sports, crafts, wellbeing activities, demonstrations, or something creative for families and the community.

We are looking for self-employed exercise instructors to deliver falls prevention classes Winsford and Ellesmere Port!

The ideal instructor will have experience delivering group exercise, a relevant fitness qualification, good communication skills, and a supportive approach to working with older adult community groups. Sessions will be delivered on a casual, one-off basis, with dates and times agreed in advance.

We’re proud to see Healthbox CIC featured in the latest update from the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside “All Together Smiling” programme 🦷✨

The initiative has now reached a major milestone, with over 50% of eligible settings across Cheshire and Merseyside brushing daily to improve children’s oral health and wellbeing.

At Healthbox CIC, we’re delighted to be supporting this important work by delivering training to early years settings and education providers, helping staff feel confident in implementing supervised toothbrushing programmes safely and effectively.

By equipping teams with the knowledge, resources and practical guidance they need, we’re helping create healthier habits from an early age and supporting long-term improvements in children’s health across our communities.

A huge well done to everyone involved in making this programme such a success so far 👏

We’re proud to support Mental Health Awareness Week alongside other members of the Mental Health Alliance in Cheshire West a collaborative network of community sector organisations promoting positive mental health and offering a wide range of support for those who may need it.

Mental Health Awareness Week, taking place this week is an opportunity for us all to:
• raise awareness of mental health and reduce stigma
• encourage open conversations about wellbeing
• highlight support available locally and nationally
• celebrate the organisations, volunteers and wider communities making a difference every day.

The theme for this year’s awareness week is action: for yourself, for someone else, for all of us. Action has been chosen because, while awareness is vital, real change comes when we take action too.

Supporting mental health is part of what we do every day. From affordable counselling and social prescribing, to school workshops, bereavement support, workplace wellbeing and helping train future counsellors - improving access to mental health is what we do.

Mental health matters every week, and we are doing everything we can to make it accessible, compassionate, and available to everyone who needs it 💚
