Sometimes protecting childhood means being called:

Too sensitive.

Too protective.

Too involved.

Too intentional.

I'm okay with that.

Because children don't need parents who are afraid of judgment.

They need parents who are willing to go first.

If protecting my children's wonder, boundaries, intuition, and childhood makes me "too much"...

I'll wear that title proudly.
