Today we celebrated The Urology Group's 30th anniversary the best way we know how, by bringing together the community.

Employees and patients enjoyed an old-fashioned parking lot cookout, with CEO Michael Galvin and President Dr. Stephen Kappa serving up burgers and hot dogs from behind the grill. Their grilling assistants, Nicole Short and Aaron Carmack, made sure no one went hungry. We were also honored by a visit from one of our original physicians, Dr. Igor Dumbadze, who stopped by to say hello.

To everyone who has been part of our journey over the past three decades—our physicians, employees, patients, and community—thank you! Here's to 30 years of exceptional care and many more to come!

A lot can change in 30 years...or even just a decade when it comes to remarkable advancements in cancer treatment. In 2012 we introduced our first on-site radiation treatment machine. Late last year we rolled out Adaptive Radiation Therapy technology, which offers even more precise targeting of radiation to spare healthy tissue and give patients even better outcomes. And now we've introduced PSMA/PET scanning to help detect prostate cancer even more precisely.
