Healthcare Christian Fellowship New Zealand HCFI strives to inspire and equip all Christians serving in healthcare to manifest Jesus Christ in daily life and work

Healthcare Christian Fellowship Oceania is evangelical and nondenominational in character and is not controlled by any one denomination. Controversial doctrines are avoided and thus cordial relations are maintained with Bible-believing evangelical churches and missions. Membership is free and open to anyone who believes in Jesus as Lord and Saviour and who loves the “Lord your God with all your he

art, with all your soul, and with all your mind” and who loves “your neighbour as you love yourself” as well as believes in the Great Commission. Mission groups are made up of Australian and New Zealand doctors, nurses, Christian counselors and child ministry workers who travel to and serve isolated/ needy areas across the pacific. At present mission trips occur about 3x a year to Papa New Guinea, Vanuatu and Tonga. At each camp/ conference, overseas and local medical staff a trained up in Christian maturity & sharing the gospel, and then medical camps are held where locals are invited to have a free health check-up. The clinics are usually held over 4 days and include the various specialties. Every patient then sits with a Christian counselor where they can receive prayer and the gospel is shared. In the evenings Crusades are held where the gospel is preached. Thousands of lives have been touched and transformed by Christ through this ministry.
