The Rural Health Unit of Sultan Naga Dimaporo proudly participated in the Tuberculin Skin Testing (TST) and Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment (DR-TPT) Training conducted by the Department of Health โ€“ Center for Health Development Northern Mindanao in Cagayan de Oro City.

Representing the municipality was our ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ ๐‡๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐€๐›๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐ก ๐€. ๐€๐›๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ณ๐ข๐ณ , who joined fellow health professionals in enhancing their knowledge and skills on TB infection testing, contact investigation, and preventive treatment for individuals at risk of developing Tuberculosis.

Knowledge saves lives! We are proud to announce the successful completion of the Basic Life Support (BLS) and Standard First Aid (SFA) Training โ€“ Batch 1, spearheaded by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

Over the course of this intensive training, these participants pushed their limits, mastered lifesaving techniques, and proved that readiness is a shared responsibility. The Rural Health Unit of Sultan Naga Dimaporo (RHU-SND) successfully conducted the Orientation on Water Safety Monitoring and the Nine (9) Parameters of Physical and Chemical Water Analysis.

Our local health workers and sanitation inspectors gathered to strengthen our monitoring protocols and ensure that the water flowing into our communities remains safe, clean, and free from harmful contaminants. By mastering the 9 critical physical and chemical parameters, our team is better equipped to protect public health and prevent waterborne diseases.
