We have successfully performed the first of its kind endoscopic (scar-less) transaxillary skin-sparing mastectomy using GelPOINT® Path at Arete Hospitals, Hyderabad. The technique was adopted from South Korea and Taiwan with minor modifications, to preserve the natural skin and shape of the breast, thus achieving excellent cosmetic and oncologic outcomes.

My recent visit to the Yonsei Cancer Center was a whirlwind of emotions, wrapped in sterile corridors and warm human connections. I am grateful to Prof. Hyuk Hur & Prof. Byung Soh Min for the guidance, enlightenment, and the care I have received all through my stay here. I’m returning back not only with enhanced surgical skills but also with unforgettable memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.

The ARETE INSTITUTE OF ONCOLOGY proudly hosted an International Conference on Colorectal Cancer this Saturday. Our team feels previliged to have organized this conference seamlessly. This conference brought together various international speakers, thus offering a global perspective.

Conferences like these provide a platform for us to share the latest techniques and best practices we have adopted in our department. This conference also facilitated learning for lot of postgraduate surgeons, who benefited from both conference and hands-on stapler workshop.

Robotic Surgery: Transforming Cancer Treatment Outcomes

In the rapidly evolving landscape of medical technology, robotic surgery has emerged as a groundbreaking approach that is revolutionizing cancer treatment. Sophisticated robotic systems like the da Vinci Surgical System, the Indian made SSI Mantra Surgical System, etc., have enhanced visualization through magnified 3D imaging.
