Innovation Meets Main Street:
Boosting Black Women-Owned Businesses Grant
In a partnership between AEO and LISC powered by Fifth Third Bank, the grant was created to help Black women entrepreneurs who have been impacted by COVID-19 and civil unrest. The $10,000 grant can be used to help these businesses with layoff aversion, operational costs, paying rent, and connecting with customers. There are certain criteria that businesses must meet in order to be eligible for the grant. That information can be found here.
The grant will be awarded to 63 recipients across Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Louisville, KY, Cincinnati, OH; Detroit, MI, Nashville, TN; or Orlando, FL.
The deadline to apply is Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
