📢 Did You Know?

Last month, 387 patients across our Sunderland GP practices did not attend their appointment.

✅ The good news is that this is 111 fewer missed appointments than in July, showing another positive reduction. Thank you to everyone who took the time to cancel appointments they no longer needed.

When appointments are not attended, it means less availability for other patients who may be waiting to be seen, therefore longer wait times. While we're moving in the right direction, there's still more work to do.

If you can no longer attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible by:

Mini Minds and Me is a free six-week course from Sunderland Talking Therapies, designed to help parents and carers develop practical strategies to improve their mental health and wellbeing using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques.

The programme covers topics including the challenges of parenthood, self-care, managing anxiety, communication skills, and building resilience. Participants will learn helpful techniques they can use in everyday life to support their wellbeing.
