In the wake of a senseless communal conflict, Sultan Nyandiang Wuor has demonstrated true leadership, restraint, and wisdom. Despite losing his own brother in the past, he chose not to take up arms or seek revenge against innocent people. Instead, he left the matter to the rule of law.

His message is a powerful reminder that revenge only creates another cycle of suffering. True strength is choosing peace when anger gives you every reason to choose violence.
