You Don't Need Answers | Silent in Sedona

So many of us come to meditation hoping to find answers.

We want to know what to do next. We want clarity, certainty, and a plan.

But what I've discovered is that peace doesn't always come from finding the answer. Often, it comes from letting go of the need to have one.

When we become quiet, something shifts. We stop forcing. We stop striving. We become more present with our lives as they are. And from that place, clarity often arrives on its own—gently, naturally, and in its own time.

You don't have to arrive at a silent retreat with your life figured out.

You don't need to know your next career move, heal every relationship, or make every big decision before you come.

You only need a willingness to pause.

In this final reflection, I share why silence isn't about solving your problems—it's about creating the space where wisdom has a chance to emerge.

If you've been longing for a weekend to unplug, slow down, and reconnect with yourself, I'd love to welcome you to the Silent in Sedona Retreat.

Is Silence Boring?

One of the questions I hear most often when people are considering a silent retreat is:

"Won't I get bored?"

It's an understandable concern. We're used to filling our days with conversation, podcasts, music, scrolling, reading, and constant stimulation. The idea of intentionally choosing silence can seem... well... a little dull.

But perhaps boredom isn't the destination but rather a doorway?

When we stop reaching for distractions, something unexpected begins to happen. We notice the warmth of the sun, the sound of the breeze through the trees, the rhythm of our breath, and the incredible richness of the present moment. What once felt ordinary becomes quietly fascinating.

I've found that silence doesn't make life smaller—it makes it fuller.

In this third video of my Silent in Sedona series, I explore why silence isn't about having less to experience. It's about experiencing more of what's already here.

Have you ever noticed that the moments you remember most vividly weren't always the busiest ones? Sometimes they were the quietest.

If you're curious about what a weekend of intentional silence might be like, I'd love to welcome you to the Silent in Sedona Retreat, where we practice mindfulness, meditation, and deep connection with nature in Sedona's breathtaking red rock landscape.

**When was the last time you felt truly rested?**

Not caught up.
Not productive.
Not on vacation.

**Rested.**

I've come to believe that many of us don't need more time—we need a different relationship with time. We need moments to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply be.

That's what inspired this second video in my *Silent in Sedona* series.

If you've been feeling like life has been moving just a little too fast, I hope you'll take a couple of minutes to watch.

You can come and be part of my Silent in Sedona meditation retreat this Sept 10-13. Details: https://www.SilentInSedona.com

I'd love to hear from you...

What if silence isn't empty... but full?

We spend so much of our lives surrounded by noise—notifications, conversations, podcasts, and endless distractions—that true silence can almost feel uncomfortable.

But what if silence isn't something to avoid?

What if it's where we finally hear ourselves again?

This is the first video in my new Silent in Sedona series, where I'm sharing reflections on the power of silence, mindfulness, and reconnecting with ourselves in nature.
