We are pleased to announce the establishment of a new private organization called HISTORIC ANDREWS effective March 01, 2012. Its core focus is to create a MASTER PLAN forecasting its future for up to the next 5 to 20 years. Starting with the downtown revitalization project and expanding it further throughout the townscape fabric as deemed necessary. The evidence is clear that certain neighborhoods
in the downtown area deserve a new professional design. To highlight some of the potential items in our Design Program include a central park, a town clock, multiple water features, outdoor living spaces, sculptures, landscaping, gardens, central message board, new lighting, new signage, and new pathways for pedestrians and bicyclists, and the list just continues. This newly developed organization will be fully supported by an advisory board where HISTORIC ANDREWS will strive hard in achieving excellence, working independently and/or integrate with the Town of Andrews administration in a joint partnership to a satisfactory level.
