Here you can see the horses left hip is clearly lower then the right. What you can’t see is that the horses right hip is rotated forward as well. And the horses left eye is higher then the right. What does this mean? The cranium and the pole are rotated and the pelvis is actually counter rotating to compensate. So the pelvis was not the issue at all. It was the scull. Here you can see the difference in the pelvic alignment once we aligned the cranium and the pole. It changes the entire posture of the horse. Had we only adjusted the pelvis, it would go right back out of alignment. That’s why we always work in alignment with the priority of the nervous system and not just what appears to be the “obvious” issue.
