Women’s Health Month is not over yet — and neither is the reminder to be intentional about your health. 💜
This month, take a moment to check in with yourself… and grab a friend, sister, mother, daughter, aunt, or coworker and encourage them to do the same. Prevention on Purpose is not just about reacting when something goes wrong — it’s about making intentional choices before problems become bigger.
Some preventative screenings and vaccines that are often covered by health insurance include:
✔️ Annual wellness visits
✔️ Mammograms
✔️ Cervical cancer screenings (Pap smears)
✔️ Colon cancer screenings
✔️ Blood pressure screenings
✔️ Cholesterol screenings
✔️ Diabetes screenings
✔️ Mental health screenings
✔️ STI screenings
✔️ Flu vaccine
✔️ COVID vaccine
✔️ Tdap vaccine
✔️ Shingles vaccine
✔️ HPV vaccine
And speaking of HPV… many people do not realize the recommendations changed over the years.
The HPV vaccine was once primarily discussed for teenagers and young adults, but recommendations expanded. Some adults up to age 45 may still benefit from vaccination depending on their health history and risk factors. Many people were never told this update.
This is your reminder to:
✨ Ask questions
✨ Review your preventative benefits
✨ Schedule your screenings
✨ Know your baseline numbers
✨ Encourage someone you love to do the same
Be Intentional.
Practice Prevention on Purpose.
Because your health deserves your attention before there is a crisis.
