Aberfoyle Walk in the Park Free weekly ‘all abilities’ health walks from Loch Lomond & The Trossachs Countryside Trust. All welcome – join us, connect with nature, boost wellbeing!

The walks usually last 30-45 mins followed by tea and coffee in the a local cafe for a blether. Walk in the Park health walks utilise the beautiful and nurturing surroundings of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. We are one of the best examples of a successful health walk programme in Scotland. Join us for a free, fun and easy way to get fit and feel better. Come along to a walk in Aberfoy

le on Mondays, always meet at 10.20am behind the Scottish Wool Centre in the car park. No need to book simply turn up and join in … everyone’s welcome! It’s also a great way to meet new people. All of our walks aim to be accessible and interesting for everyone. They last about 45 to 60 minutes
The routes are mostly flat, with slight inclines
They have good walking surfaces
Some are around the town, others out in the countryside
If you are unsure about joining the group immediately, find out about our strength and balance sessions to build your confidence, and join the walking group when you are ready.

Step into June with our 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿‑𝗟𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 - the perfect way to boost your wellbeing, meet friendly faces, and take time for yourself in the great outdoors. Join us at 10:20am Monday to Thursday. Dress for the weather, pull on your comfy shoes, and join us as we enjoy movement together. Free, and no need to book - everyone's welcome.

Join us as we celebrate National Walking month with our annual 'All Community Walk' on Monday 18th May in Aberfoyle. Take a stroll with us as we enjoy a healthy and social walk taking in the beautiful scenery and bluebells of Aberfoyle.

𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲! There will be a choice from walking either our gentle accessible health walk or a lovely longer option of 4 miles.

⏰Meeting at the Riverside car park, Aberfoyle, 10.15am for registration with a 10.30am start. Followed with the optional tea/coffee afterwards at the Aberfoyle Memorial Village Hall.

Our Strength & Balance sessions are designed to help improve balance, build strength, and boost mobility in a relaxed, friendly setting. These gentle exercises are suitable for all abilities and are a great complement to our health walks – or perfect on their own:

- 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿 – Monday’s weekly 10.30am-11.30am, (3 Villages Hall)
- 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 – Tuesday’s weekly 2pm-3pm (McLaren Leisure 1st Floor Studio)
- 𝗗𝗿𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻 –Tuesday’s 12th, 26th May 12.15-1pm (Drymen Village Hall)
- 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻 –Wednesday’s weekly 2pm-3pm (Killin & Ardeonaig Parish Church)

Special Highlight
We’re delighted to welcome the P7 pupils from Aberfoyle Primary School, who will be joining us and providing some wonderful entertainment - a real highlight you won’t want to miss!

Whether you join us regularly or it’s your first time, you’ll be made very welcome - there’s a chair for everyone!

Strength & Balance session will be on from 11:45am with Fiona from Trust in the Park. Gentle seated or standing exercises to help you work up an appetite before lunch.

Strength and balance is a simple and enjoyable way to improve balance, increase strength and boost your confidence in movement. Sessions are important to help maintain and improve our overall health and wellbeing.

Come and try it for yourself at our Aberfoyle monthly session.
