Many thanks to Arbor Counseling Centers for inviting me to be their Keynote Speaker at their “kick off” professional networking event.
It is so important to surround yourself with likeminded professionals. Collaboration is the secret to our personal and professional success. So much gratitude 🙏

I am really excited to announce an alliance with Vesta Divorce. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have been working with couples and their families for over 30 years. I have watched my clients struggle through the difficult process of divorce-being paralyzed by overwhelming emotions, fearing their future financial stability, and agonizing over changing parenting roles and family dynamics. This challenging process is all to familiar to me, personally. I wish Vesta Divorce had been in existence when I was going through my own divorce. The resources Vesta Divorce offers individuals at all stages of the divorce and post-divorce process are invaluable. They have an incredible team of vetted professionals who work together, with you, to ensure the best possible outcomes for you and your family. Vesta is changing the face of divorce and I am thrilled to be a part of their collaborative services.

SO YOU THINK YOU'RE A ROCK STAR BECAUSE YOU MULTITASK~THINK AGAIN!!
Multitasking increases stress while reducing achievement and meaningfulness. A study by Stanford researchers found the brains of people who multitask work less efficiently even when they're not multitasking. Multitasking impairs cognitive ability and lowers your IQ.
Tips to stop multitasking immediately:
1. Do not start your morning by looking at your
phone
2. Create a list of daily priorities
3. Reduce or eliminate outside distractions
4. Set a time for distractions
5. Be prepared to say "NO"
6. Keep work areas clean and organized
7. Be sure to unitask during your prime time
8. Be aware of your multitasking habits
