Join in a Disability Pride celebration marking the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on Thursday, July 23rd in Sacramento. Disability Pride Month commemorates the anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and honors the resilience, achievements, and intersectional diversity of the disabled community. This year's theme is "The World Works Better With Us" a declaration of inclusion. When individuals with disabilities are included in schools, work and communities, respected, and supported the world is better for everyone.
