Don’t allow anyone to tell you who you are or what your limits are, to lessen you or to dampen your spirit.
Stay strong, soft and centred in your precious heart.
Breathe deep into those faithful & unquestioning lungs.
Follow the steady path of your own breath
Feel what it feels like to be truly free
Centre yourself in your fire and what matters most to you.
Gently cut any chains that bind you.
Leave any memories of force and enslavement behind.
Dance in your freedom, held in love by the ground beneath you.

Remember ego and high expectations make conflict or others more likely as well as a lack of communication with family and friends about plans. 🗣

When are hurt by others. We may have to mourn a little what we didn’t receive as children to manage when others let us down. Not all of our responses are proportional to the situation. When we overreact or see someone overreacting they are often playing out traumas and unmet needs from childhood. 👧🏼🧒🏼 This means their emotions are real and so is the hurt but it’s often not often all about the person who triggered them. Instead childhood stuff is playing out. If they do their own work and healing, this will become clear. If they don’t try and heal their wounds, they will have no idea, and blame others. 🙏🏽

Remember the temporary discomfort of asserting your boundaries in a difficult relationship is better than years of having your boundaries walked over & ignored. 💕 If they are not adding to your life, they need to go.
