📣 ATTENTION UPRISING FAMILY! 💛
We’ve got something exciting planned for when the weather warms up… UpRising Co is heading to the local markets! ☀️🙌
We’ll be setting up our very own UpRising Co Market Stall, and we’d love as many of our participants as possible to get involved.
Participants can start going through their belongings at home and looking for things they no longer need, use or want that are still in good condition. Put them aside, have a think about how much you’d like to sell them for, and we’ll bring it all together for the market stall.
This is about much more than selling a few things. It’s a great opportunity to build independence, confidence, money skills, communication, decision-making, organisation and social skills in a real community setting.
Participants can be involved in all different ways — helping set up the stall, pricing items, talking to customers, handling sales, packing up and working together as a team. There’ll be a role for everyone.
📍 The market and date are still to be confirmed.
For now, start sorting through those cupboards, bedrooms and garages and put aside anything you think could find a new home. ♻️
👀 We also need your help finding the perfect market!
