Did you know . . .
Milk has been used as a beauty aid for thousands of years, improving a variety of skin problems including redness, acne, wrinkles and dryness. Milk is a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, exfoliator, pore minimizer, and soothing for sunburn. But did you know sheep milk is superior to cow and goat milk because it contains more vitamins, minerals, protein, and butterfat; thus making it superior for skin care products and easier for humans to digest.
Love, Byrd. Soap only uses the highest quality ingredients and milks in our recipes. When it comes to dairy, natural raw sheep milk and pure natural cream is only ever used.
Love, Byrd. does not use goats milk. Not because it doesn't have good properties, but it can be gamey as goats will eat anything. Also, if you don't buy goat milk locally you could be purchasing a powder form of milk that China floods the market with.
It pays to know where your product comes from and what goes on your skin!
