3 Healthiest Fruits Starting with A

1. Apricot

In the middle of summer, yellow-orange fruits appear on store shelves and attract us with a pleasant aroma. But they are not only tasty, but also healthy! Apricots contain a large amount of potassium, vitamins A and E, which are useful for digestion and immunity. Antioxidants, which are abundant in these fruits, protect the body from premature aging.

2. Avocado

Despite its unsweetened taste, avocado is a fruit. Moreover, it is a very healthy representative of its family: it contains omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, potassium and many vitamins. A low sugar content with high nutritional value allows diabetics and people on a low-carb diet to enjoy avocado.

Do not forget that the peel and pit of this fruit are poisonous, only the pulp can be eaten!

3. Orange

Everyone has probably heard about the benefits of citrus fruits in the fight against colds. Orange fruits contain a large amount of vitamin C, but this is not the only advantage of oranges. This fruit is rich in copper, which is necessary for hematopoiesis, iron absorption and collagen production. Beta-carotene, which gives the fruit its orange color, helps maintain eye health.

Oranges are low in calories, have a fairly low glycemic index and contain a large amount of dietary fiber, and are therefore suitable for dietary dishes. But it is important to remember that citrus fruits are a common allergen, so they should be consumed with caution.

Healthy Morning Bowl with Quinoa, Apples and Hazelnuts
A bowl with quinoa, apples and hazelnuts for breakfast is a great idea for a weekday. Bowls are dishes made from a fairly large number of different ingredients collected in a bowl (hence the name, because bowl is a “bowl” in English). The base of a bowl is usually cereal. In our recipe, it is quinoa cooked with raisins - and this base can be easily prepared the day before, and in the morning just warmed up and supplemented with chopped apples, hazelnuts, maple syrup and mint. A hearty, light and very tasty bowl with quinoa for breakfast for the whole family is ready!
Quinoa 150 g
Apple 1 pc.
Green apple/Semerenko 1 pc.
Raisins 20 g
Hazelnuts 40 g
Nut butter 2 tbsp.
Lemon juice 1 tsp.
Salt 2 g
Maple syrup to taste
Fresh mint to taste

Red Cabbage Salad for Health
You will need:
a small head of red cabbage,
2 oranges,
2 pears,
4 tangerines,
100 g pitted prunes,
75 g lemon juice,
50 g olive oil,
salt to taste,

Preparation:
Remove the top leaves from the cabbage, dry with a paper towel, cut the head in half and remove the stalk. Then cut the cabbage into thin strips and thoroughly rub with salt until juice forms.
Peel the oranges and tangerines and divide into slices. Peel the large orange slices from the films and cut each in half.
Wash the pears, dry with a paper towel, peel, remove the core and cut into thin slices.
Wash the prunes, pour boiling water over them and leave for 3-5 minutes. Set aside a few for decoration, chop the rest.
Squeeze the cabbage and mix with other prepared ingredients. Sprinkle with lemon juice and season with olive oil.
Put the finished salad in a mound on a plate, garnish with whole prunes and parsley sprigs.
