The Commonwealth Medicaid Agency (CMA) would like to inform the public that, in reference to Directive 2026-003 – Revised Austerity Schedule for Fiscal Year 2026, CMA operations are not affected.

✅ We will continue to operate under our regular business hours, and all services remain available to the community.

The Commonwealth Medicaid Agency has issued two Administrative Directives to clarify program coverage and access to care.

• Telehealth Services – Approved Medicaid services may be delivered through telehealth, including phone and video visits, while meeting the same quality, privacy, and coverage standards as in-person care.
• Podiatry Services – Guidance has been issued to clarify coverage and reimbursement for podiatry services provided by, or under the supervision of, a licensed physician.

Håfa Adai & Tirow CNMI Community,

The Commonwealth Medicaid Agency (CMA) will be relocating its main system server beginning Wednesday, October 29, 2025. During this relocation, the Medicaid system will be temporarily offline — affecting application processing, renewals, and prior authorization requests.

CMA offices will remain open for walk-in clients and general inquiries during normal business hours. The system is expected to be fully operational by Monday, November 3, 2025.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important transition to improve our services.

Exciting Times Ahead for the Commonwealth Medicaid Agency!

On Friday, October 17, 2025, the Commonwealth Medicaid Agency (CMA) held its first Meet and Greet with our Project Management Office (PMO) team from BerryDunn, a consulting firm supporting the CMA from the U.S. mainland.

The event brought together the entire CMA team — including staff from Rota and Tinian who joined virtually — to kick off this exciting new collaboration. Together, we’re strengthening internal capacity and laying the foundation for a more connected and resilient Medicaid program for the CNMI.
