If the mother of your child is doing better without you while providing for your child alone,
thatās a different level of embarrassment for you.
Because it says everything about who she is and everything about who you chose to be.
She carried your child, stood by you when things were hard,
and believed in a future that included you both.
But when you left or failed to show up, she didnāt crumble she rebuilt.
She picked up the pieces, wiped her tears, and became both the mother and the father.
She turned her pain into power, her heartbreak into hustle.
Meanwhile, you sit there pretending itās okay,
watching her glow from afar while she thrives without your help,
while she gives your child the love, stability, and life you were supposed to provide together.
Thatās not strength on your part thatās shame disguised as pride.
Real men donāt walk away and clap for themselves from a distance.
They show up, not just with money, but with presence, effort, and love.
They co-parent with maturity, not ego.
They donāt let their children grow up watching their mother do it all alone.
If sheās doing better without you, thatās not her flex thatās your failure.
Because she wasnāt supposed to have to survive you.
She was supposed to have a partner, not another child to raise.
So while you brag about moving on or finding āpeace,ā
remember peace doesnāt come from abandoning responsibility.
It comes from being a man of integrity,
from being proud to stand beside the woman whoās raising your child with strength and grace.
If she can carry your child and still carry her dreams alone,
the least you couldāve done was carry your weight.
And if you didnāt ā sheās not bitter, sheās better.
And thatās something youāll have to live with every single day.
