Almost two years later and I still laugh at how convinced I was that nothing would happen. 😂

Turns out, that night was only the beginning.

Rooted Again exists because of everything that came after. 🌿

Nervous system work, plant medicine, women’s gatherings + a whole lot more coming.

Stay close. 🤍

Nobody tells you the shift starts ten days before your period.

So you spend a week and a half wondering why everyone’s annoying, why you’re exhausted, why you snapped at someone you love over nothing. A lot of us are synced with the moon and still nobody explains what’s actually happening.

Then perimenopause starts and the pattern changes. Then it stops altogether — and the estrogen doesn’t come back.

Nobody warns you about any of it.

Here’s what’s happening: estrogen supports your serotonin. When it drops, that support drops with it — and you’re left raw-dogging your own nervous system with no stabilizer. That’s true at 28. It’s true at 45. It’s true after your last period.

It’s not you, babe. It’s your hormones.

A lot of women find support through a protocol — microdosing alongside lion’s mane and L-theanine. What women report isn’t that they feel numb. It’s that there’s a space now between the trigger and the reaction, and in that space they get to choose.

Your rage was never the problem.
Having nowhere to put it was.

I’m taking on 4 women who want support with this.

Comment 🍄 or DM me if that’s you.

This is just the beginning. 🌿

My vision is to build something bigger than a single event—a community here in Guelph where women feel supported, connected, and reminded they don’t have to navigate healing alone.

This gathering is the first step, with many more workshops, collaborations, and community experiences to come.

📅 Save the date range: this September, likely September 5th or 19th (final date to be confirmed soon!)

Whether you’re hoping to attend, collaborate, or become a community partner, I’d love to connect.

Once there, you’ll see two options:
🌿Keep Me Posted if you’d like to attend, or 🤝Become a Community Partner if you’re a practitioner or business wanting to collaborate.

I can’t wait to bring this to life with all of you. 💛

Every time a new study like this is published, it reminds me why I do this work.

Anorexia nervosa is one of the deadliest mental health conditions we know of. It isn’t simply about food or body image—it’s an illness that affects both the mind and the body, and for many people, recovery is incredibly difficult.

That’s why research like this matters.

This new pilot study found encouraging early results for psilocybin-assisted therapy as part of treatment for women living with anorexia. It’s not a cure, and it’s still early research, but every well-designed study helps us better understand where these medicines may have a place in mental health care.

We’re watching a field evolve in real time, and I honestly think that’s something worth paying attention to.
