Last one for tonight, I promise! 😂
But the garage gym therapy was too good not to share, and when God gives you the strength to move, you don’t waste it.
After riding the bike, I picked up the weights for a targeted upper-body session: Hammer curls, bicep curls, and Arnold presses—3 sets of each.
There is something so therapeutic about isolating the muscles when your joints are fighting against you. The Arnold presses definitely had my shoulders screaming by the third set, but every bit of it felt like a victory.
With advanced arthritis, you learn to adapt. If I can't do heavy lower body work right now, you better believe I'm going to work on building strong arms and shoulders! As I pressed those weights up, I was reminded that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness. My hip might be a mess, but my spirit is locked in.
I am using every ounce of today’s news as fuel to lose the weight and gain the strength I need. I’m walking hand in hand with Him, one rep and one day at a time. 💪🏼❤️
