What a strange and lonely place it can be. Moments where you look at your child and wonder “how could anyone hurt a child?” Moments of pure joy that get tinged with flashbacks. Moments of “I could have never acted/spoken/behaved to my parents like that” followed by a deep breath and remembering that’s the whole point. ❤️

If you would have asked me 5 years ago, I never would have imagined that I’d get to travel the state creating custom trauma-informed care trainings for community partners. First Tee Tallahassee is an incredible organization and they were so kind and welcoming. Plus - always an incredible excuse to get lost in my favorite place, Native Nurseries!
