In laboratory studies, Ivermectin was found to reduce tumor cell growth by more than 50% within 24 hours.

Endocrine-resistant breast cancer is particularly challenging to treat due to its lack of response to hormone-based therapies that are effective for other breast cancer types. NEW ARTICLE: Ivermectin - A Repurposed Agent for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and Other Leukemias. Researchers have identified ivermectin as a potential antileukemic agent through a comprehensive screening of existing drugs.

The study revealed that ivermectin induced cell death in leukemia cells at low micromolar concentrations, with a preferential effect on cancer cells over normal hematopoietic cells. Furthermore, ivermectin delayed tumor growth in three independent mouse models of leukemia at pharmacologically achievable concentrations.

Given its established toxicology and pharmacology, ivermectin may be rapidly advanced into clinical trials for leukemia treatment. Have you discussed this with your oncologist? It is worth noting that ivermectin is no longer under patent, and its manufacturer, Merck, is currently collaborating with Moderna on mRNA cancer vaccines priced at $500,000 per treatment. Previous studies by Yonekura et al. and de Castro et al. have investigated the use of ivermectin in human leukemia patients.

One notable case involved an 11-year-old boy with aggressive AML who achieved stable disease on 1mg/kg/day of ivermectin for six months. The authors concluded that high doses of ivermectin can be safely administered for extended periods, alone or in combination with chemotherapy, in pediatric patients with refractory AML. Ivermectin has demonstrated superior anti-cancer activity compared to existing chemotherapy treatments in certain cases, warranting further systematic exploration in AML.
