Art Therapist – Vanessa Pages

At Quies Retreat, Vanessa is excited to share her knowledge and passion in guiding women on
a journey of emotional healing and self-discovery. Since beginning her work as an Art Therapist in 2021, she has created a safe and nurturing space where women can reconnect with themselves and embrace the transformations of life from her private studio – Heal thru Art Therapy.
Women often juggle countless roles, and in the midst of this beautiful chaos, it’s easy to lose
sight of their true selves and deepest desires. During the profound transitions of peri-
menopause and menopause, these sacred moments become an invitation to shed old identities
and embrace new beginnings.
Art therapy offers a powerful tool for this journey. It’s not about being “good” at art; it’s about
using creative expression to tap into the subconscious, uncover hidden emotions, and explore
true feelings. Through the simple processes of responding through art, healing can begin, the
nervous system can relax, and a renewed sense of inner peace can emerge.
At the retreat, Vanessa will facilitate women through a calming group Clay workshop designed to reconnect the body and mind in a gentle, reflective way. It’s a chance to nurture self-
compassion and understanding, without judgement or pressure.
This is a space to pause, listen and be empowered.

Sound Therapy & Guided Meditation with Tee of Shamanic Dreaming.

Time to unwind and recharge through a gentle blend of sound healing and guided meditation.
Tee uses soothing instruments such as crystal singing bowls, rainstick, drum and chimes, combined with meditation to help quiet the mind, release tension, and restore balance to the body.
No experience is needed—just relax, breathe, and let the sound and energy bring you back to a peaceful, centred state.

For those wanting to go a little deeper, Quantum Reiki sessions will also be available during the retreat as an optional extra offering a more focused, restorative energy experience that works on both the physical and emotional levels.

Starting with your facilitator, Cassandra Irvin.

With a deep passion for health & wellness, Cassandra brings a wealth of experience to our retreat with over 20 years in the industry.

Cassandra envisioned creating a space in or around Griffith where women can unwind without the hassle of long travel, and how could she go past the beautiful . As a mum and business owner, she understands the challenges of juggling multiple responsibilities and the yearning for a peaceful escape. This retreat is her way of providing that much-needed haven for women, offering an opportunity to step back, recharge, and reconnect with themselves.

Cassandra also believes in the power of community and wants to involve and invite other local women to help deliver this retreat, showcasing their unique talents and expertise. By keeping this retreat local and utilising the skills of our talented community members, we aim to keep revenue within Griffith, supporting local businesses and fostering a sense of connection among women in our area.
