Meet Dr. Pamela Bianca Lim Yap-Simpao, our new clinician and Gastroenterologist at OLMCMC! 🩺✨

Dr. Yap-Simpao brings a wealth of expertise to our team, having recently served as the Chief Gastroenterology Fellow at St. Luke’s Medical Center Quezon City. She completed her Subspecialty Fellowship Training in Gastroenterology at St. Luke’s, where she was also recognized with the Young Investigator Award in 2025.

Her distinguished medical journey includes:
Internal Medicine Residency: St. Luke’s Medical Center, where she was awarded Most Outstanding Resident Level 1.
Specialized Training: Completed a Clinical Rotation and Observership in Gastroenterology at the Augusta University Medical College of Georgia, USA.

Academic Excellence: Earned her Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Santo Tomas, graduating as a Dean’s Lister.

Board Certifications: A Diplomate of the Philippine Specialty Board of Internal Medicine (scoring in the 97th percentile) and the Philippine Specialty Board of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy.
Dr. Yap-Simpao is also a dedicated researcher, with her work on clinical predictors for hematochezia and rare gastrointestinal cases presented at international conferences like Asian-Pacific Digestive Week. Her commitment to excellence and patient-centered care ensures our patients receive the highest standard of specialized medical service.
