Today, we're introducing you to Kelly Bell.

Kelly's journey has taken him from being a hairdresser for 38 years to serving families as a Funeral Assistant, Certified Funeral Celebrant, and Licensed Funeral Pre-Planner. While his roles have changed over the years, one thing has remained the same - his passion for helping people.

In this video, Kelly shares what he considers the greatest privilege of all: walking alongside families during one of life's most difficult moments.

As Kelly says, it truly is an honour to be someone who can make a difference when families need it most.

When someone chooses cremation, one of the questions we hear is:

"Where do I go to feel close to them?"

The truth is, remembrance doesn't have to be tied to a cemetery.

For Robbie, it was planting a memorial tree at the golf course where his mom made her hole-in-one. Others choose a park bench overlooking the water, a favourite beach, a family cottage, or another place filled with special memories.

In this video, Robbie shares a few meaningful ideas for creating a place to visit, reflect, and remember.

We’re back! 💙

Over the past couple of weeks, we stepped away to celebrate some very special family milestones - Robbie’s 50th birthday, Isabelle’s graduation, and to spend some much-needed quality time with our parents while travelling through Europe.

In the work we do, we’re reminded every day that time is something we should never take for granted. This trip was a chance to slow down, celebrate life’s special moments, and make memories with the people we love. Those are moments we’ll cherish forever.

While we were away, we had complete peace of mind knowing our incredible team was here caring for the families who placed their trust in us. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication allowed us to truly disconnect and be present with our family, and for that we are incredibly grateful. We simply couldn’t have done it without them.

To everyone who reached out, supported us, and patiently waited while we were away, thank you. We’re feeling refreshed, grateful for the memories we’ve made, and excited to be back doing what we love - serving the families of Sarnia-Lambton.

Sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves and those we love is simply our time. ❤️
