Here is a quick and easy technique to use to move tension out of the jaw.
A lot of tension lives in the joint of the jaw. When the jaw is tight this impacts the Central Nervous System, brain function and mechanics of the body. Looking at the emotional connection we see this tension could be related to anger, resentment or a desire for revenge.
The Jaw Release Technique:
Place two fingers on the TMJoint which you will find on the face, next to the ear in the mid-point between top and bottom of ear - indicated on the image with red X.
Place two fingers from the other hand on the chin. Gently move the fingers on the chin down and up a few times to remind the jaw of the preferred relaxed action. Repeat on other side. Repeat a few times throughout the day. That's it. Simple yet oh so effective.
