Your period can tell you a lot about what is happening in your body 😊

If you are missing periods for months at a time, bleeding for longer than usual, bleeding between periods, changing pads or tampons very frequently, or experiencing cramps that medication can’t ease — it may be worth checking in.

At my practice, I help women investigate menstrual concerns through a proper consultation, bloodwork where needed, and scans to get a clearer picture of what may be going on.

You don’t have to wait until it feels “bad enough” to ask for help 💕

Pregnancy has a funny way of making some of us suddenly want to become the healthiest version of ourselves overnight 😅

But if you weren’t doing strenuous exercise before that positive test, pregnancy is not the time to suddenly start a high-intensity training plan.

Mild to moderate exercise is usually acceptable in a healthy pregnancy, and if you already had an exercise routine before falling pregnant, you can often continue with it — just without suddenly increasing the intensity, weight, or mileage.

The golden rule? Let your body lead you. If something feels like too much, it probably is. Try to maintain your heart rate during exercise in pregnancy at 60–80% of your usual pre-pregnancy maximum heart rate 💕

It always starts with “I’m fine”
and then suddenly, you’re not quite so sure anymore.

Perimenopause and menopause can show up in ways you don’t always expect, from hot flushes and poor sleep to mood changes and that general feeling of “something feels off”.

You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

If you’re navigating these changes, I offer guidance and support to help you better understand what’s happening in your body and how to manage your symptoms in a way that works for you 💕

Contact the practice on 058 303 6408 to book a consultation.
