Vyf van ons leerders het die geleentheid gehad om UCT se Menslike genetika fakulteit te besoek en eerstehands te ervaar wat verskillende beroepe in die veld doen - van DNS onttrek tot genetika beradingsessies. Dit was n baie insiggewende dag.

Die opedag was op 24 Aug 2026 by die UCT kampus in Kaapstad.

Its always a good day when Prof Ambroise comes 'home' to visit! A PhD graduate from HumGen himself, and affiliate Prof in our Division, he is now Professor of Genetic Medicine, and Director of the McKusick-Nathans Institute and Department of Genetic Medicine at Johns Hopkins
