Workplace safety is a shared responsibility.
Employees must follow safety procedures, use protective equipment correctly, and report hazards β€” while employers must provide training, guidance, and safe systems of work.

Contact us for training and support on OHS matters.

Workers should cooperate with employers by taking care of their own safety, complying with the instructions given regarding safety and health, using protective equipment correctly and reporting hazardous conditions or accidents.

πŸ”₯ Fire Season Awareness

As wildfire conditions continue across the Western Cape, it’s critical that we act responsibly and lawfully when encountering wildlife affected by fires.

Thank you to CapeNature for this important guidance. Please read and share to help protect both people and wildlife.

⚠️ Fire Season Update | What to do if you encounter wildlife affected by fire

As the Western Cape continues to experience an intense and extended wildfire season, CapeNature is urging the public to act responsibly and lawfully when encountering wildlife affected by fires.

Fynbos is naturally adapted to fire, and many animals can recover without human intervention. Wildlife must not be touched, captured, fed, or removed, even if they appear injured or disoriented. Only trained and authorised individuals may assist β€” removing wildlife without permission is unlawful.

If you encounter an animal that is injured or in immediate danger, keep a safe distance, note the location, and contact the appropriate authorities.
