Kan te veel "screen time" my kind se taalontwikkeling beïnvloed?
Ons weet almal hoe aanloklik tablette en slimfone vir kinders kan wees. Maar watter invloed het dit op hul taalontwikkeling? 🤔
Kinders leer taal deur te praat, vrae te vra, stories te deel en te speel. Te veel "screen time" kan hierdie aktiewe leer-geleenthede beperk, veral as die skerm passief gebruik word, soos om videos te kyk sonder interaksie.

Dis iets wat ons baie gereeld by ouers hoor.
En hier is die belangrike deel: om meer te verstaan as wat hulle kan sê, is baie algemeen — en dit kan ook ’n teken wees dat vroeë ondersteuning ’n groot verskil kan maak.
Spraak- en taalterapie gaan nie daaroor om kinders te dwing om te praat nie.
As jy al gewonder het of jy moet “wag en sien”, is dit dalk die moeite werd om eerder ’n gesprek te hê 🤍
Om vroeg vrae te vra beteken nie iets is verkeerd nie — dit beteken jy gee om.
