🚨 Not Every Trend Is Healing – Day 1

"If you pull away, they'll come running back."

This is known as the Rubber Band Effect—the idea that creating distance will make someone miss you and chase you.

While space can be healthy, intentionally withdrawing to trigger a reaction is not the same as building a strong relationship.

Healthy connections grow through trust, communication, and mutual effort—not emotional games.

💭 Have you ever seen this advice shared online? Do you think it helps or harms relationships?

🚨 COMING THIS WEEK: NOT EVERY TREND IS HEALING

Social media is full of relationship and friendship advice.

Some of it encourages healthy communication, self-respect, and personal growth.

But some trends can promote emotional games, avoidance, manipulation, and unhealthy relationship patterns while being presented as "healing" or "empowering."

Over the next 10 days, we'll be exploring popular social media trends and asking an important question:

✨ Is this actually healthy, or has it just become normalized online?

We'll be discussing:
• The Rubber Band Effect
• Silent Treatment vs Boundaries
• Making Someone Jealous
• Testing People Instead of Communicating
• Playing Hard to Get
• Ghosting
• Love Bombing
• Cut Everyone Off Culture
• Protecting My Peace vs Accountability
• Trauma Bonding vs Genuine Connection

The goal isn't judgment.

The goal is awareness, emotional wellbeing, and healthier relationships.

Join me over the next 10 days as we separate viral advice from genuine growth.

💭 Which relationship trend do you think causes the most harm?
