Join the second episode of the Global Recovery Collective with host Brad Webster, Senior Addiction Counselor at Freeman House Recovery. On this episode, I am joined by special guest Meir Cohen, founder of VitalLink Care Management, on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 11 a.m. ET, as we discuss the topic: Beyond “Just Try Harder”: Understanding People Who Feel Stuck.
Meir Cohen is the founder of VitalLink Care Management, where he helps individuals and families navigate the complexities of mental health and recovery. From finding the right treatment and building a strong support team, to turning progress made in treatment into lasting change in everyday life.
After walking his own journey of recovery and rebuilding his life, Meir became passionate about a question that continues to guide his work today: What actually helps people create real change?
Through his own lived experience and his work across behavioral health settings, including residential treatment, sober living, case management, and direct client support, Meir saw that while treatment is life changing, healing does not end there. True recovery is about rebuilding identity, creating connection, finding purpose, and developing the skills and confidence to fully engage with life again.
Today, Meir works alongside individuals, families, and treatment teams to bridge the gap between where someone is and where they want to be. His approach combines compassion with accountability, insight with action, and support with independence, helping people move beyond surviving and toward building a life they are truly proud of.
